Launching on September 9, 2026, Astra brings together the lightness of ballet-inspired design with Comet’s signature contemporary aesthetic, creating a low-profile sneaker designed to stand out.
To introduce Astra to its audience, Comet has brought together Akshara Shivakumar, Mannat Sandhu, Prathiksha Shetty and Subiksha Shivakumar as the faces of its launch campaign. Each creator brings her own distinct style and perspective to the campaign, interpreting Astra through individual expressions of contemporary women’s dressing. The campaign reflects the versatility of the silhouette while showcasing how its form and unexpected details can be styled across different aesthetics.
Designed to transition seamlessly into everyday dressing, the silhouette keeps its form minimal while introducing unexpected details that give each pair its own character.
One of Astra’s defining details is its transparent mesh lateral, an intentional design feature that adds a subtle sense of playfulness to the sneaker while allowing the wearer’s socks to become part of the look. The silhouette also features double-lacing treatments and a mix of materials, with each colourway offering a distinct interpretation of the design.
The collection launches in seven colourways, ranging from soft, understated tones to more expressive combinations: Burnt Toast in Brown White, Day Dream in Multi Blue, Vanilla Cloud in Grey
White, Wild Bloom in Purple White, Matcha Cream in Green Cream, Chrome Kiss in Silver White, and Pink Butter in Multi Beige.
